Govt to sell TCB products through permanent shops

The Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will sell products through permanent shops starting next fiscal year to alleviate the sufferings of cardholders in collecting products.
State Minister of Commerce Ahasanul Islam Titu disclosed this information at the district administration conference at Osmani Smriti Milonayatan on Monday.
"The public administration will send us a list of dealers, based on the recommendation from the local representatives, in the next two months. Inshallah, we will be able to sell TCB products through permanent shops from next fiscal year," said the minister.
"There are 7,700 TCB dealers across the country. Initially, they distributed items on trucks. Now they do it in open places. It causes a lot of trouble for people, as it takes a whole day to collect a TCB package," said the minister.
