Project activities, guidelines, institutionalization and awareness workshops were held at the initiative of Secondary Education Development Program (SEDP) of Performance Based Grants for Secondary Institutions (PBGSI) Scheme under Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, Ministry of Education at Lalmohan.
The workshop was held in the Upazila Parishad hall on Saturday.
Bhola-3 Constituency Member of Parliament Nurunnabi Chowdhury Shaon was present as the chief guest in the workshop.
In his speech, the chief guest said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has modernized the education system to keep pace with the world. Education is no substitute for technology literacy. The prime minister has given importance to education and technological knowledge in building a smart Bangladesh.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (Acting) Imran Mahmud Dalim in the chair , Upazila Parishad Chairman Birmuktijoddha Giyas Uddin Ahmed, Female Vice Chairman Machuma Begum, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Fakrul Islam Howladar, Secondary Education Officer Md. Rafiqul Islam, Academic Supervisor Madan Mohan Mondal. Trainer in the workshop was (34th BCS Cadre) Accountant Officer Md. Mahfuz Alam.
Head, Deputy Head, President of Managing Committee and President of PTA participated in the workshop.
