Fuel oil price to be coordinated within a day or two: Sate Minister

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has said the price of fuel oil will be coordinated within a day or two.
He made the remark while talking to journalists at Secretariat in the capital on Monday.
Nasrul Hamid said, “We will coordinate the fuel oil price. Now, scrutiny is underway. But the price of fuel oil has increased a lot in the world market.
Per barrel is now at 150 US dollar. Under this situation, it has to add a big part of subsidy again. It is because the amount of subsidy was over Tk 8 when the price of per diesel was Tk 114 per liter. Now the amount may increase further. We will take decision after analysing those matters.”
