Four die of liquor poisoning in Narayanganj

Four people have died as a result of consuming poisonous liquor in Meghna industrial area of Sonargaon in Narayanganj.
The deceased are known as – Tofazzal, Mahsin, Jahid Hasan Babu and Jisad.
Sources said, a total of 12 persons consumed the toxic liquor on Friday night. At one stage, they were sent to local clinics after they become sick drinking the liquor. Later, the four of them died under treatment on Saturday.
Confirming the matter, Sonargaon police station OC Rafiqul Islam said, investigation is underway in this regard.
