Flood situation worsens : Millions of people trapped in water in M'bazar

Many villages of Juri upazila of Moulvibazar have been inundated by the untimely floods. About 36,000 people from 2960 families have taken shelter in the shelters. Belagao, Dighalbak, Shahpur, Prahladpur, Hekimpur can be seen on the ground, water up to the waist in the houses of the people of these areas, most of the people of the house have taken shelter in the shelter.

He was seen distributing relief items to the affected families as well as giving food to the shelters. Besides, Jatiya Party leader MA Malik Sachchu provided food at several shelters in the last two days. Jahed Hossain Tajin, a member of the Western Jury Union, provided two days of food aid to about 500 people at the shelter Has continued to distribute. Most of the people in the upazila have been without electricity for four days due to water shortage in PDB's power sub station.

After being without electricity for about 72 hours, PDB has supplied electricity from Kulaura Power Sub Station to Juri Bazar. But now Most of the people of the upazila are in darkness. Crisis of chira, candles, potatoes, muri has occurred in the pair's shops. Shopkeepers are selling candles at higher prices due to lack of electricity. Most of the roads in the upazila are not accessible by CNG or motorbike People are moving by truck.
