Junat Arman Karnaphuli (Chittagong)

The final of season-3 short pitch night cricket tournament was held on Friday organized by Bandhan Club of Dakshin Shikalbaha of Karnaphuli Upazila.

Convener of Karnaphuli Upazila BNP SM Mamun Mia was present as the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the final game of the tournament. Member Secretary of Karnaphuli Upazila BNP, Haji Mo Osman, was present at the tournament.

Chief guest Mamun Mia said, “People of Karnaphuli were bound in the chain of slavery. The robbers looted the country's wealth and smuggled it abroad. They have no place on this earth. Youth should be brought back to the path of drug free and healthy culture through sports. Everyone must take an oath, we will unite and build a just society free from drugs and robbers. Stand against the looters and build a Bangladesh of justice and good governance.”

The tournament was chaired by senior member of Upazila BNP Abu Taib Contractor.

With the presence of hundreds of spectators on the field, every moment of the game becomes enjoyable. The organizers said that this tournament is not just for entertainment, but an effort to build a drug-free and healthy society.
