Eid-ul-Azha Advance Eid train ticket sale begins today

Bangladesh Railway will today begin selling advance intercity train tickets ahead of Eid-ul-Azha online.
The sale of tickets for trains bound for the West Zone will begin at 8am, while sale of tickets for East Zone-bound trains will start from 2pm.
The railway authorities already informed that all train tickets would be sold online; no tickets will be offered from any booths or counters.
This year Eid-ul-Azha is likely to be held on 17 June.
For the Eid time travellers, the railway is scheduled to sell advance tickets for five days.
The tickets of 12 June will be sold on 2 June, while the tickets of 13, 14, 15 and 16 June will be sold on 3, 4, 5, and 6 June respectively.
On the other hand, the sale of return train tickets will begin from 10 June. The tickets for 20 June will be sold that day.
According to railway sources, in bid to transport sacrificial animals, cattle trains will be operated from 12-14 June in the Railway’s West Zone, while cattle trains in the East Zone will be operated on 12 June only.
