Durga Puja and harmony of people

Alok Acharja

Bangladesh is a country of coexistence of all religions. Everyone rejoiced in the festivals. Hindu’s Goddess Durga visited her parent’s home in this earth with her family son and daughter. On Vijaya Dashami the great puja will conclude with Bisarjan.

The conflict between Sur and Asura is eternal in the world. Sur, that is, auspicious energy, has been cornered over the ages by the power of Asura. Then when the world is burdened with sin only a good force came into the world. Goddess Durga is that power. He is Agnivarna, Agnilochana during enemy burning. She is Jagadishwari.

Goddess Durga is described in Hindu scriptures Devi Purana, Matsa Purana, Markya Purana, Kalika Purana and Devi Bhagavata. Now in the world, the joy of the powerful, the ugly laughter of the oppressors, the sighing of the common people under the power of dishonest people, these are beyond humanity. These are demons. Humanity and animality are fighting. Humanity is cornered today. It has been like this for ages.

That is, a good force has awakened in the world. Peace has been established. When demonic power becomes dominant in the world, it needs to be destroyed. As it happened long ago, it is happening today.

Tyrant kings oppressed the subjects, invaded other countries and spilled blood. Then someone came to suppress that evil power. Goddess Durga appeared on earth to kill this demon. That demon's name was Mahishasura. The demon that neglected and despised the power of women. Those who became mighty gods are without heaven. Goddess Durga emerges when female power is denigrated.

Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of Sanatan religions has started. Festivals brings a message of joy to Sanatan devotees.

A festival brings joy to everyone. Eid, Puja, Christmas or Buddhist Purnima binds us all together. Bengali life is hindered by the same formula. It belongs to all people.

The unity of Bengalis is visible through coexistence for ages. One lends a helping hand to the other. Puja is therefore a cooperation each other. Goddess Durga is called Durgatinashini. Whenever the people of the world have been harmed or oppressed by a non-human or a demon, Goddess Durga appears to destroy them. Goddess Durga is the power of traditional religion. The Himalayan lion is with her.

The lion also played an important role in that disastrous war. The goddess fought with the demons with ten hand and ten weapons. Goddess Durga is the symbol of all female power. It’s an inspiration for women. It reminds us that women are not weak but can stand against all oppression. These demonic people have become big in today's society. Their dominant tone means real people are cornered.

The cries of helpless women are in the air. Women have that power which can kill and destroy these demons. Women's power has awakened throughout the ages. It will be the same today. Female energy will wake up right away. Goddess Durga with ten weapons in ten hands was fighting with Asura. As we know the story of the slaying of Mahisasura, Mahisasura was a tyrannical demon. The heavens and the underworld trembled at his tyranny.

The gods were banished from their resident. Losing the heavens, they came and worshiped the Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwar. Then a power emerged from the radiance of them. This power is the original Power Mahamaya.

According to the Kalika Purana and the Brihadharma Purana, Durga was worshiped in autumn during the battle between Ram and Ravan. This period is called ‘Akal Bodhan’ because according to Hindu scriptures, the gods sleep during this time. Goddess Durga has more forms and names. He is worshiped in every form.

She has many names like Devi Chandika, Yogamaya, Ambika, Narayani, Katyayani etc. Goddess Kali is a popular form of her. In this form also he killed many terrible demons. She is seen in eight-handed, sixteen-handed, ten-handed, eight-handed and four-handed forms.

But the reason why she is known as Durga is that she killed a demon named Durgamasura at the request of the gods. He who pervades the world is the Adi Shakti. Goddess Durga is Dashabhuja. She holds ten weapons in ten hands. Mahishasura had reached the limit of his sins. When Mahishasura's commander Chikshu and Chamur were killed one by one on the battlefield, Mahishasura himself came to the battlefield. Even then he was scorning and neglecting Goddess Durga.

His destruction was inevitable. Because arrogance of power, neglect of women's power, tyranny all accelerated its downfall. Those who are tyrannical, greedy and angry in the world are also destroyed. A power comes to destroy him. Every woman is a power.

They also have that destructive power. Which is capable of destroying all ferocious hyenas. In any case, Sharadiya Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of Hindu religious, will bring a smile to people's faces.

The insult and contempt of women in the society should give strength to women to protest against it and make the society clean. With the abandonment of the goddess, all the demons should be destroyed from the society.
