DU VC 's greetings on Eid-ul-Azha

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal congratulated all the teachers, students, officers and employees of the university on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. On this occasion, he wishes everyone eternal happiness, peace, prosperity, health and well-being.
In a greeting message on Friday, June 14, 2024, the Vice-Chancellor said that one of the most important religious festivals of the Muslim community is the holy Eid-ul-Azha. This festival builds mutual camaraderie, brotherhood, tolerance and harmony among all. The lesson of Eid is to enjoy joy and extend mutual help and cooperation through equality, brotherhood and solidarity. Eid brings the message of joyous festival to all people. Their respective history-traditions and beliefs are embodied in this festival-joy.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed optimism that the holy Eid-ul-Azha will make everyone's life full of joy through self-purification, inspired by the glory of sacrifice.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal also said that Bangladesh has become a role model for development in the world under the leadership of Bangabandhu's daughter Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed hope that under the honest, courageous and efficient leadership of the Prime Minister, the progress of success and development will continue in all fields including education, health, agriculture, business and economy.
