DU forms two bodies over allegations against Naadir Junaid

Dhaka University (DU) authorities have formed two probe bodies over two allegations against Professor Naadir Junaid, a teacher of Department of Mass Communication and Journalism.
The university formed the bodies at a syndicate meeting on Sunday night over the allegations of sexual harassment and enforcing personal outrage on students.
Several syndicate member confirmed the matter.
They said a three-member fact finding committee, led by Law Faculty dean Professor Dr Sima Jaman, was formed over the allegation of sexual harassment. The committee was asked to submit its reports within two weeks.
Meanwhile, another three-member committee, led by pro-vice chancellor (Education) Professor Dr Sitesh C Bachar, was formed over cutting numbers resorting personal outrage on students. This committee was asked to submit the report withing the shortest possible time.
