Dr. Md. Sagirul Islam Majumder, Assistant Professor of the Department of Soil Science and a young agricultural scientist at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU), has been given additional responsibility as Assistant Director of the university's Student Counselling and Guidance Department.
This information was announced in an official order signed by the university's registrar, Professor Dr. Md. Ektiar Uddin, on Sunday.
The order mentioned that Dr. Majumder will serve in this position until further notice and will enjoy financial and other benefits according to the previous rules. Additionally, the university authorities reserve the right to amend or modify the order if necessary.
In response to his new appointment, Dr. Sagirul Islam Majumder said, I am sincerely grateful and thankful to the current administration of PSTU. The university administration has entrusted me with this important responsibility by acknowledging my academic achievements, integrity, and commitment.
