Conference on 'Education in Gopalganj: Present and Future' held

A conference on 'Education in Gopalganj: Present and Future' was held on Thursday morning at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Memorial Auditorium in Gopalganj.
Professor Dr. Hossain Uddin Shekhar, Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology was the Chief Guest.
The conference, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Kamruzzaman, was addressed as a special guest by the University's Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Sohel Hasan, Principal of Government Bangabandhu College Professor Wahid Uddin Laskar, Additional Superintendent of Police Kazi Mahbubul Haque, Principal of Sheikh Hasina Girls High School and College Shahnaz Reza Annie, Assistant District Primary Education Officer Md. Anisur Rahman, Principal of Gopalganj Salehia Kamil Madrasa Abu Said Md. Abdullah, Headmaster of Manikhar Haji Khorshed Saptapalli High School in Sadar Upazila Farid Ahmed Mollah.
The speakers at the meeting expressed various suggestions on the current status and future of education in Gopalganj and how it should be in the future. In addition, they emphasized on taking effective steps to spread good education in schools, colleges, madrasas and universities.
Government officials, teachers of universities, colleges, high schools, madrasas and primary schools participated in this education conference.
