The body of a child named Bilal Mia was recovered from the paddy field in Baniachang. Deceased Bilal Mia (9) son of Iman Uddin Orpe Goibullah of Noagaon village.

A farmer of Nowagaon village found the body of a child in a paddy field on the northern side of Kadupur village on Thursday (January 26). At 8 o'clock in the morning, he found the dead body while fertilizing his paddy field. When he informed the people nearby, his family identified the dead body of Bilal.

According to local sources, the child went missing from the waj mahfil in Kadupur market of Barayuri UP in Baniachong upazila. His house is in Noagaon village of the same area. The father of the deceased Bilal said that he has been living in his maternal grandfather's village Kadupur for quite some time.

He also said that on the 25th at seven o'clock in the evening, the child went missing from the waj mahfil in Kadupur Bazar of Baniachong Upazila.
As the child Bilal did not return home at night, after many searches, he was not found.

As evidence, his used shoes were found in a field next to the crime scene and another pair of shoes was found a little further along the outpost road. This raised the suspicion of the law enforcement agencies. They believe that he was killed in a planned manner.

UP Chairman Farid Ahmed said that when he was informed by phone from the spot, he immediately rushed there and comforted the family of the deceased. Anyone who has done such a thing demands peace during the investigation.

Baniachong Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ajay Chandra Dev told the media that after receiving the news, he came to the spot, collected evidence, recovered the body and sent it to Habiganj for post-mortem. It is believed to be a premeditated murder.
