The layout and work of a box culvert bridge at a cost of Tk 32 lakh 20 thousand has been inaugurated in Daulatdia of Goalando upazila of Rajbari.

On Thursday noon, the layout of a 9.75 meter box culvert was provided at a cost of 32 lakh 20 thousand taka allocated by the Directorate of Disaster and Relief on the canal facing Daulatdia Union Parishad from the village of Lokman Chairman of Daulatdia Union of the upazila.

Daulatdia Union Parishad Chairman Ah Rahman Mondal said that Sheikh Hasina's development has spread in every field across the country. In continuation of the development, the work of a box culvert on the canal has started to protect from the flood water in the direction of Lokman Chairman Para area of Daulatdia Union. In fact, due to the rise of water on rainy days, farmers' crops are drowned along with the movement of people on this canal. Once the culvert work is completed, everyone in the area will benefit a lot.
