In Kamalganj, Moulvibazar, the bride committed suicide after 6 days of marriage before the henna dye was dried. But the locals consider the suicide mysterious.

Runa Begum of Bongaon village of Adampur union of the upazila was married to Din Mazur Sharif Mia, son of Azir Mia of Nainarpar village of the same union. After 6 days of marriage, the bride committed suicide by hanging herself in her room at 10 pm on Wednesday.

According to the Kamalganj police station, due to abdominal pain, the bride went to Moulvibazar district headquarters on Wednesday and returned home in the evening after seeing a doctor and getting an ultrasound. Runa's mother took her to a doctor and left her husband's house and went back to her own house. Meanwhile, husband Sharif Mia also left the house to go to the market. At 10 o'clock at night, her mother-in-law went and found the door of the bride's room closed. After many calls, it is the door.

He was found hanging from an electric fan with a noose around his neck through a gap in the back fence. When the matter was reported to the Kamalganj police station, a team of the police station went to the spot, broke the door and sent the dead body of the bride to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital on Thursday morning.

While talking to some locals who did not wish to reveal their names, they said that Runa got married 6 days ago, the girl was also very good. We cannot accept that Runa will die like this. They demanded the administration to look into the matter subject to proper investigation.

Inspector (Investigation) of Kamalganj Police Station Abdur Razzak confirmed the truth of the incident and said that after the autopsy on Thursday afternoon, he handed over the body to his family. A case of wrongful death has been registered at Kamalganj police station in this incident.
