A book titled ‘Regulating Foreign Direct Investment for Development: Perspectives from Bangladesh’ has been published with joint initiative by Islamic University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah and Associate Professor Mia Mahmudur Rahim of Law Department at the University of New England.
It was published by Taylor & Francis Group Routledge on Wednesday, 6 November 2024. It's a total of 126 pages.
It offers a comprehensive overview of the relationship between foreign direct investment (FDI) regulation and sustainable development in Bangladesh. Besides, it also recommends reforms to introduce development as a primary goal while maintaining Bangladesh's appeal as an FDI destination.
Professor Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah is currently serving as the 14th Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University, and his contributions to development research have been recognized internationally.
