Body of school student recovered 3 days after abduction in Shahjadpur

Three days after the abduction in Sirajganj Shahjadpur on Monday , police recovered the injured body of 2nd class student Md. Riduan (11) from the grass field of Kalai Bill of Potazia Union.
Police arrested three people in connection with kidnapping and murder.
The deceased is Md. Momirul Haque (39) son of Ratankandi village of Habibullahnagar Union of Riduan Upazila and a 2nd class student of Shah Habibullah Kindergarten.
The arrested are Sagar Ali (19), son of Md. Alauddin of Ratankandi Uttarpara village of Upazila, Sakhayat Hossain (16), son of Father Md. Halim of Jigarbaria village and Naeem Bhakta (26), son of Jalil Bhakta of Ratankandi Uttarpara village.
According to the statement and police sources, last Friday afternoon Riduan left the house to play, 2 hours after that, the kidnappers called the father of the deceased and demanded a ransom of Tk 50,000.
As the money was not paid, the kidnappers took Riduan to the grass field of Potazia Kalai Bill in the evening and killed him by twisting a towel.'
Last Saturday afternoon, when he called the father of the deceased Riduan again for the ransom money, after sending 10,000 taka to the unknown number, the number was closed. And after searching, Riduan's father came to know that he went to Shahjadpur Municipal Market in a van with the accused.
Then his father filed a complaint at the police station.Then on Monday morning, the police recovered the wounded body from the grass field.
In this regard, Additional Superintendent of Police (Shahzadpur Circle) Md.Hasibul Islam said, Sakhayat Hossain and Naeem Bhakta were arrested last Sunday with the help of information technology and sources.
Based on the information provided by them, Sagar Ali was arrested and questioned from Dhaka on Sunday night, and they admitted the responsibility of abducting and murdering him. And based on the information given by them, Riduan's body was recovered from Kalai Bill along with them.
He also said that the body will be sent to Sirajganj Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Hospital for post-mortem.And preparations are underway to send the accused to jail through the court.
