BNP protest meeting, demo held in Boalkhali

In protest against the ugly statements made against the founder of BNP martyred President Ziaur Rahman, BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, a protest meeting and demonstration procession was held at the traditional Kalurghat Bridge premises by the joint initiative of Boalkhali Upazila and Municipality BNP and its affiliated organizations on Saturday.
Presided over by Boalkhali Upazila BNP Senior Joint Convener Alhaj Nurunnabi Chowdhury and presented by Municipality BNP Former Member Secretary Yusuf Chowdhury, Chattogram South District BNP Former Member Secretary and current Senior Member of the District Committee Public Leader Alhaj Mostaq Ahmed Khan spoke as the chief guest.
Former joint convener of Boalkhali Municipality BNP A AM Kamal Uddin, former members of Municipality BNP Rafiqul Islam, Syed Mozammel Haque, Ilias Chowdhury, Nurul Kabir, Manjur Hossain Chowdhury, Jahangir Alam Master, Mohammad Yunus, Kazi Kamal Uddin, Harunur Rashid Chowdhury, Dulamia Member, Jane Alam, Jasim Uddin, Senior joint convener of Municipality Jubo Dal Jahirul Islam Russell, former associate organizing secretary Jahangir Alam, Municipality Volunteer Dal convener Morshed Alam, joint convener Amir Hasan Jewel, former convener of Municipality Sramik Dal Md. Harun, former member secretary Saiful Reza, Rashed, Rahat, Municipality Jubo Dal leader Soleman, Upazila Chhatra Dal leader Arafat Chowdhury, Municipality Jubo Dal leader Nazim, Lokman, Hasan Rafi, Mehedi, Rakib, Sohel Badsha and many other leaders were present.
At that time, in his speech as the chief guest, Alhaj Mostaq Ahmed Khan said , a group has divided itself into different names and is involved in a conspiracy to sabotage the national election by spreading ugly and politically unethical lies against BNP and Tarique Rahman as part of a conspiracy to sabotage the election. The conspiracy of the conspirators against BNP and Tarique Rahman has failed in the past and will not succeed in the present either.
The presence of several thousand BNP workers, supporters and leaders can be seen in this colorful procession. The procession started from Kalurghat Ferry Ghat and ended at Kalurghat Zia Smriti Sangsad office via petrol pump.
