In an effort to promote the 31-point state reform plan announced by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, a series of leaflet distribution, public engagement, and roadside meetings were held in Joypurhat on Thursday night.
Faisal Alim, a member of BNP’s National Executive Committee, led these activities in various areas of Ayma Rasulpur Union under Panchbibi Upazila, including Charmatha Jamalpur, Shalpara Bazar, Karia Bazar, and Baramanik.
The events saw active participation from leaders and activists of BNP’s affiliate organizations, including Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, Mahila Dal, Krishak Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, and Shramik Dal.
Speaking at the gatherings, Faisal Alim emphasized that the 31-point plan reflects the aspirations of the people. He stated, “The 31-point agenda announced by Tarique Rahman represents the hopes of the masses. Through its implementation, we can build a discrimination-free and prosperous Bangladesh.”
The initiative is part of BNP’s broader campaign to raise public awareness about its state reform proposals, which include constitutional reforms, a national reconciliation commission, and the restoration of a neutral caretaker government system for free and fair elections.
