BNP leader Alal walks out of jail

BNP Joint Secretary General Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal has been released from jail on bail on Wednesday afternoon after more than three and a half months of his arrest.
He walked out of Kashimpur Central Jail in Gazipur around 4pm. BNP leaders and activists of the senior leader of the party received him at the jail gate.
Moazzem Hossain Alal at the jail gate said that this government has turned the entire country into a prison. Now the movement to oust the autocratic government from the largest prison will be strengthened.
Meanwhile, Detective Branch of police arrested Alal from Shahidbagh area under the capital's Shahjahanpur Police Station on October 31 in a case filed over the killing of a policeman on October 28.
A court on November 1 had placed the BNP leader on a five-day remand in the case.
