BCI organises orientation workshop on 'National Industrial Policy, 2022 Review'

An orientation workshop on the "National Industrial Policy, 2022 Review" was organised by the Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) at its Boardroom on Saturday.
BCI President Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury (Parvez) attended the workshop as the chief guest, while Md. Salim Ullah, Additional Secretary (Policy, Law, and International Cooperation) at the Ministry of Industries, served as the chief trainer.
Preeti Chakraborty, Senior Vice President of BCI, chaired the programme.
During the opening ceremony, conducted by BCI Secretary General Md. Helal Uddin, Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury provided an analysis of the workshop's objectives, discussing the current state of the industrial sector and the national economy.
He invited participants to share their views on various issues, emphasising the need for the government to address the challenges facing the industrial sector effectively.
Preeti Chakraborty, encouraged active participation and engagement from all attendees.
In the second part of the workshop, Md. Salim Ullah, Chief Negotiator for the National Industrial Policy, 2022, presented his session in two parts and responded to a range of questions from the participants.
The workshop concluded with a feedback session, followed by the distribution of certificates to all participants.
Around 24 representatives from BCI members, as well as various chambers and associations, attended the workshop.
In addition, BCI Executive Committee members Shahidul Islam Niru, Mohammad Ishakul Hossain Sweet, and Mahfuzur Rahman were present.
