Bashundhara Group distributes food aid among poor at Shibalaya

At the initiative of Bashundhara Group in Shibalaya, Manikganj, food aid was distributed on the premises of Shibalaya Government High School.
The ShibalayaUpazila administration on Tuesday (May 11) distributed food aid to poor families affected by natural disasters and the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
Food aid includes 10 kg of rice, pulses, oil, sugar and flour.
Under the direction of Hon'ble Prime Minister, the assistance was distributed among 450 families of Shibalaya and Teota Union of ShibalayaUpazila in collaboration with Bashundhara Group.
Deputy Commissioner SM Ferdous inaugurated the distribution of food aid.
ShibalayaUpazila Executive Officer BM Ruhul Amin Rimon, Shibalaya Government High School HeadmasterHazrat Ali, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Sudeb Roy, Journalist Shahjahan Biswas, Shahidul Islam, Maruf Hossain, Joy Ghosh, Shibalaya Model Union Parishad Chairman Muhammad Alal Uddin Alal, Teota UP Chairman Abdul Quader, UP Member Md. Rafiqul Islam and others were present at that time.
Deputy Commissioner SM Ferdous said that on the directive of the Prime Minister, the government as well as the owners of industrial plants like Bashundhara Group have come forward to help the poor people during the Corona. We have been fighting Corona for over a year. He instructed all present to follow the rules of health including the use of hand sanitizers and masks.
