Award ceremony for meritorious students in Natore

An award ceremony was held in Natore to honor meritorious students who excelled in the SSC and HSC examinations in the 2022–2023 academic year. 

A total of 37 top-performing students from the Rajshahi Education Board, Madrasa Education Board, and Technical Education Board in the Sadar Upazila received crests and certificates.

The event was organized on Tuesday  at the Sadar Upazila Parishad Auditorium by the District and Upazila Secondary Education Offices.

Natore Deputy Commissioner Asma Shaheen attended as the chief guest and handed out the crests and certificates.

Speakers at the event noted that although there has been progress in education, improvement in quality is yet to be significantly observed. They emphasized that today's talented students will play a vital role in educational institutions, families, society, and even in shaping the nation.

The ceremony was presided over by Natore Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Arif Adnan. Among others who spoke were Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Jannat Ara Ferdous, District Education Officer Md. Rostam Ali Helali, Assistant Commissioner (Land) for Natore Sadar Md. Farhad Hossain, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Naznin Sultana, teacher Jasmin Ahmed, guardian Selina Akter, and student Sanjida Akter Jemy.

Earlier, mobile cash rewards were disbursed among the 37 students — BDT 10,000 each for SSC level and BDT 25,000 each for HSC level achievers.
