Anti-social and non-political activities of Mahila Awami League leader Najma Akhtar Najan in Ward No. 8 of Uzanchar Union of Goalando Upazila of Rachbari have been protested on Thursday.

It is alleged that she occupied land by mercenary terrorists, physical torture on the common people of the area by using the name of various political persons and Rajbari 1 Constituency MP.

Again, by breaking the name of the ruling party, they grabbed the land in the area and hired terrorists to beat innocent people. We immediately protest this anti-social and apolitical act and seek the intervention of the local administration.

Former UP member of the local ward, Quader Mollah, said, "Today, I have done many arbitrations and trials regarding this Najma for 10/12 years. This woman listens to no one. When he says something to her, a case of woman abuse is filed in his name with the help of law. For a long time, anti-social activities in Najma area and local leaders have been forcibly occupying land in the area. We strongly protest against Najma's anti-social activities. Also, I demand the punishment of this woman and her daughters very quickly.

Najma Akhtar Najan said over the phone, "Those who made human chains in my name are members of the same family." They formed this human chain to kill me. I am now receiving treatment from hospital admission. She also said that a neighbor named Homesh beat me up because of this dispute over my land.
