
Anti-drug workshop, awareness program organised by Coast Guard in Bhola

An anti-drug workshop and public awareness campaign was conducted by the Bangladesh Coast Guard in Bhola on Monday.
The information was shared through a press release by Coast Guard media officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haque on Monday afternoon.
According to the press release, since its inception, the Bangladesh Coast Guard has been working relentlessly to serve the people in coastal and riverside areas. In addition to that, the Coast Guard has been actively involved in disaster rescue operations, relief distribution, emergency medical services, and rehabilitation of affected people.
As part of that effort, on Monday at 10:00 AM, Coast Guard Base Bhola organized an anti-drug workshop and awareness campaign titled “Festival of Youth – 2025.”
Representatives from the Department of Narcotics Control in Bhola, along with students from local schools and colleges, including young men and women, participated in the event.
The Bangladesh Coast Guard will continue such initiatives in the future to protect the young generation from the deadly grip of drugs.
