Anima finds pleasures in human service

After getting a job in the school, I started enjoying the service fully. I bought old books and gave them to students. I used to pay their exam fee from my salary. No job now.I bring it from people. How should the Lord reconcile.
Age 78 years. Heart surgery has been done. Various diseases have settled in the body. Now retired, no income. Yet he did not stop. Books, books, food and clothes are being distributed to poor students. Rushing to the hospital to treat others. He spends his time arranging marriages for poor girls. He did not have a family while serving.
This Anima Majumdar has spent almost 50 years of her life in Cumilla city like this. He thinks that the less fortunate people around him are his family.
Masters in Psychology from Dhaka University. In 1964, he took the job of a teacher at Cumilla Farida Vidyayatan. Retired as Assistant Headmaster in 2006. Along with teaching, he has been associated with Madhumita Kachikachhar Mela for 60 years. Now serving as manager. He is the editor of Saroda Sangh, which is formed for the welfare of women.
He was born in Bagichagaon of the city in 1946. The village house is in Soldona of Faridganj upazila of Chandpur. Father is a school teacher Srinath Majumdar. Mother Charuprabha Majumdar. He is the seventh among four brothers and four sisters. Surviving are one brother and two sisters. Four of their brothers and sisters never married.They are- former principal of Rangunia College Bimelandra Narayan Majumder, former accountant of Water Development Board late Sunil Baran Majumder and late Shantimoyi Majumder. Younger sister Neelima Dutt is in America. He is married.
Construction work is going on at Bagichagaon house. They now live on rent in a house on Laksam Road in the city. There are five people including the cook's assistant. Anima Majumdar, her brother Bimelandra Majumdar, their cousin Dipankar Guha, sister's daughter Swarsati Majumdar are a family. Bimelandra Majumdar is almost 90 years old. He doesn't really want to talk. Now he listens less. You have to talk to him loudly. He is busy with books and magazines. Anima Majumder and Swarsati Majumder are spending time in cooking. Dipankar Guha has brought raw bazaar. Piles of books and magazines on the floor and on the bed.
Anima Majumdar is also sitting with a book if there is a gap.Talking about the turning point in life, he said that he studied up to class three at Ram Chandra Pathshala in Rani Bazar area. Currently the school does not exist. One day he was expelled from the school for not being able to pay the examination fee. He returned home in anger. From that day, he promised that no one should face problems in education due to lack of money.
He said about the family, there are more brothers and sisters. Father had low income. In 1971, the Pakistanis killed Mama Paresh Chandra Guha. Uncle's house in Baralia, Lakshmipur. He has seven sons and daughters. Animadar is where they grow from. The responsibility of 15 siblings falls on them after their parents. Victoria fell in love with teaching while in college. He acquired the mentality of service to his mother. Even though there is so much tension in the world, I used to see my mother wrap an onion, a garlic or some rice in paper while cooking.
Later, someone would come to ask for it. How much joy in this giving! Now on Friday and Saturday afternoons, Farida spends time doing various activities with the children of Kachikachhar Mela.
