America's Rubio speaks to Pakistan Army Chief, Indian FM

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio held separate phone conversations with Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir and Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, urging both nations to ease tensions.
According to an official statement, Rubio encouraged both sides to pursue de-escalation measures and offered US support in facilitating “constructive dialogue to prevent future conflicts.”
During the calls, he emphasized the importance of reducing tensions in the region.
