Actor Ilias Kanchan meets Mirza Fakhrul

Renowned film actor and founder of the "Nirapad Sarak Chai" Ilias Kanchan on Monday met BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and discussed road safety issues.
Ilias Kanchan visited the BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office around 12 noon to meet Fakhrul, said BNP media cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.
During the meeting, he said, the actor expressed concern over the worsening road safety situation, citing the increasing number of fatal road accidents and chaos on the streets.
Sayrul said Ilias Kanchan informed Fakhrul about his plans to organise a seminar involving political parties under the banner of "Nirapad Sarak Chai" and requested his presence at the event as the Secretary General of a major political party in Bangladesh.
Later, he said Ilias Kanchan presented a publication of "Nirapad Sarak Chai" to the BNP leader.
