A different type of Iftar at campus

A different type of Iftar at campus

Md Helal Uddin, BU

When people rush to find peace after the whole day's busyness, then it's evening and it's my turn to go. In the fall evening, when the sun fills the field of BU Muktamanch with the power of the Dapdafiaya Bridge in Kirtankhola, a group of fasting people are not brought.

A few days ago it was a characteristic of moving the ball and picking up the ball, today there is a different picture. Iftar items of Bahari variety are arranged to be worn by everyone.

Sherbat, chickpeas, onions, potato chops, ghugni, beguli, barindra, dates and jilapi. Organizational promotion of Iftari is always in the life of this chapter.

I was talking about Barisal University located in the land of Jeebananda Das. In the midst of the busy day's work, everyone rushes in search of this marginal taste, and then shares it with each other through Iftari. Some people put chickpeas on someone's plate and some potato chops or chickpeas on someone's plate.

Some people give bahari-colored sherbet to wet the throat. At the end of the bitter days of leaving the family, everyone finds a little peace in this bond.

It is like a green carpet across the chest of this small desert of 53 acres. After the Asar, cultural organizations or social organizations will host somewhere in the field. Somewhere district or division wise organization of student organizations. At the end of the day, everyone has joined here regardless of caste-caste-religion, as if everyone has come together in one family.

When the iftar is over, everyone's eyes are on the clock. As time goes on, the name of the great entity is on everyone's lips. Everyone keeps praying to the great owner for everyone. Md. Inamul Haque, a 3rd year student of Bengali department said, "This Iftar reminds us of the non-communal and ragging-free campus for the bond of harmony among all from the 1st year to masters."

Amresh Sarkar, a student of the first year marketing department, said, 'I was able to have Iftar with you elder brother. I was able to help in arranging Iftar. And all this binds us in the bond of love as well as enjoyed it'.

For iftari, although there is a canteen and cafeteria in the mosque university, but iftari on the green grass reminds us, we finished the iftar by sitting with Jibanananda Das.
