For achieving the highest CGPA in the post-graduate class, 7 meritorious students of the Department of Islamic History and Culture of Dhaka University were awarded 'Professor Dr. Habiba Khatun Trust Fund Scholarship' has been awarded.

Besides, 1 female student who obtained the highest CGPA in the same department's (honor) examination and 1 female student 'Professor Dr. Md. Delwar Hossain and Raihana Hossain received Trust Fund Scholarship. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maqsood Kamal presented the scholarship check to the students as the chief guest in a function organized at the Vice-Chancellor's Lounge on Sunday 25th February 2024.

Meanwhile, among others, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Dr. Abdul Bashir, Chairman of the History and Culture Department of Islam Prof. Ataur Rahman Biswas, Trust Fund Donor Prof. Dr. Habiba Khatun and Associate Professor Mahmudur Rahman were present. Registrar Praveer Kumar Sarkar conducted the program.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maqsood Kamal congratulated the meritorious students and said that this scholarship is recognition of the merit of the students. He said that besides achieving good results, students should develop as good people and skilled human resources. He urged the students to be kind to the elders of the family.

Professor Dr. Habiba Khatun Trust Fund' scholarship recipients are Resma Akhtar, Jahanara, Zeenat Ara Muna, Salma Akhtar, Shabnab Sheela, Mosa: Tania Khatun and Afsana Noor Fabi.Professor Dr. Md. Delwar Hossain and Raihana Hossain Trust Fund scholarship students are Ishita Khatun and Md. Touhidul Islam.
