Some 38 Ansar Battalion at the remote Longadu of Rangamati on the occasion of the historic Mujibnagar Day by placing wreaths at Mujib Kanan and celebrating the battalion's 6th founding anniversary.

On March 17 (Wednesday) at 9:30 in the morning, the captain of the battalion, ASM Azim Uddin, offered floral tributes to Mujeeb Kanan of 38 Ansar Battalion in Baittapara of Upazila. After offering wreaths, prayers were offered for the welfare of the country and the nation.

Later, a joyous procession was taken out with all the members on the occasion of the 6th founding anniversary of 38 Ansar Battalion. The procession circumambulated the main road of the battalion headquarters.

Meanwhile, the captain of 38 Ansar Battalion, ASM Azim Uddin inaugurated the foundation anniversary by flying a dove and later gave a special orientation speech at the battalion Durbar Hall.

He said, "38 Ansar Battalion was established in Manikganj district on March 29, 2018.The unit has been celebrating its foundation anniversary on this date every year since its inception.

He also said, "All the members of this unit are tirelessly fulfilling their responsibilities in dealing with any calamity in the country, socio-economic development and safety of hilly Bengalis". I believe all the members of this force are setting an exemplary role by performing their duties with professionalism.
Chittagong Range Commander Mr. Atra exchanged views with the officers and members of the battalion through video conference.

38 Ansar Battalion Assistant Director Mirbahar Shahadat Hossain, CA and Company Commander Md. Ariful Islam and Md. Mahmudul Hasan were present on the occasion.

In the afternoon, 38 Ansar Battalion's 6th foundation anniversary award distribution, raffle draw and cultural program will be held in the evening, the battalion said.
