40 volleyball trainees got certificates in Nakla

A total of 40 volleyball trainees got certificates in Nakla upazila of Sherpur district on Thursday afternoon. The certificates were given to the trainees after a month-long volleyball training workshop.
The district sports office organizes this month-long volleyball training workshop, as part of the annual sports program of the sports department.
At list 40 trainees participated in this training workshop. On the occasion, a short discussion meeting and certificate giving ceremony was held at Pathakata High School ground in the Pathakata union of the upazila.
Pathakata High School's head teacher ABM Benazir Ahmed presided over the certificate giving ceremony, when Upazila Secondary Education Officer (USEO) Mohammad Abdur Rashid was present as the chief guest. District Sports Officer (DSO) Dhirendra Chandra Sarkar gave the welcome speech as the main speaker. Upazila AL's Organizing Secretary, former member of Zilla Parishad and sports organizer Samiul Haque Mukta spoke as a special guest.
Among others, assistant teacher of Pathakata High School Faridul Alam, Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Chakhawatullah, Sabina Yasmin, Mir Motaleb Hossain Shipon, Borhan Uddin, Feroz Ahmed, Asaduzzaman, Tofail Ahmed, Faridul Islam, Israt Jahan, Nahid Sultana, Abdul Jalil, Manohar Mahmud Milan and other teachers, staff and students were present.
Sports teacher Mir Motaleb Hossain Shipon and Footballer Mamun Mia performed duties as a trainer in this month-long volleyball training workshop.
Many people hope that these trained volleyball players will take the upazila, district, division and even the country to the world stage by playing volleyball at the national and international level in the future.
