30th anniv of Tejdaskathi College celebrated in Pirojpur

The 30th anniversary of the establishment of Tejdaskathi College, located in Pirojpur Sadar Upazila, was celebrated with a grand two-day program.
On this occasion, the last day of the program was filled with a walk and a gathering of former students on the college grounds on Saturday afternoon.
On this occasion, a discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mohammad Ashraful Alam Khan, President of the Board of Directors of the college and Pirojpur Deputy Commissioner.
Zakir Ahmed Khan, Alternate Executive Director of the World Bank and Chairman of PKSF, Former Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, spoke as the chief guest in the meeting.
Additional DIG of Barishal Range Md. Nazimul Haque, Additional Superintendent of Police Sheikh Md. Mostafizur Rahman, and former Organizing Secretary of Dhaka Journalists Unity Saeed Khan spoke as special guests. The program was conducted by the college principal and district BNP convener Alamgir Hossain. Later, cultural programs and various competitive programs were organized with the participation of former and current students.
On the first day of the two-day program, on Friday, the college president and Pirojpur Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashraful Alam Khan inaugurated the 30th anniversary program of the college by releasing balloons and pigeons.
Former senior secretary of the Ministry of Railways Md. Mofazzel Hossain was present as the chief guest at the program. Barisal Education Board Chairman Md. Yunus Ali Siddiqui was the special guest.
