A two-day Digital Innovation Fair-2022 has started in Habiganj with the theme of "Smart Bangladesh in Udbhani Joyollas".

Information and Communication Technology Department Senior Secretary NM Ziaul Alam inaugurated the fair as the chief guest on Saturday
morning.

In the morning, a colorful procession left the office of the Deputy Commissioner on the occasion of the inauguration of the Digital Innovation Fair and circled the main road of Habiganj city. Later, a discussion meeting was held at Nimtala fair premises in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner.

Senior Secretary NM Ziaul Alam said in the speech of the chief guest at the inaugural function presided over by Deputy Commissioner Ishrat Jahan that the government's objective is to create employment and economic development.

The government has taken various projects to advance the country's economy through information technology. He also commented that this fair will play an important role in making the new generation aware of science.

District Awami League General Secretary Advocate Alamgir Chowdhury, Additional Superintendent of Police Palash Ranjan Dey, Brindavan Government College Principal Ilyach Bakht Chowdhury Jalal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Education and ICT Rafiqul Islam and District Education Officer Mohammad Ruhullah were special guests on the occasion.

The chief guest later visited various stalls of the fair. Stalls of 43 public and private institutions participated in the fair. On this occasion, Digital Quiz, Robotic Workshop, Maths Olympiad, Smart Bangladesh, Exhibition through Science Museum Bus, and Seminar have been organized. BUET Professor Kaykobad will present the paper in the seminar.
