157 billion cft gas found at Sylhet's Rashidpur well

Sylhet Gas Fields Limited on Sunday found 157 billion cubic feet of natural gas at Rashidpur well-2 under Jaintapur upazila in Sylhet district.
The price of the amount of gas that can be extracted from the well is Tk 10,670 crore.
According to the Ministry of Power, Energy And Mineral Resources, 80 lakh cubic feet of gas can be supplied from this gas well per day to the national grid within the next 10 days.
Nasrul Hamid, state minister for the ministry, said on his verified Facebook page, "We hope that we will bring more good news for Bangladesh in the future as the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave priority to oil and gas exploration."
