
‘Partner Field School Congress’ held for 70 farmers in Rajapur to promote nutrition, agri-entrepreneurship

At the initiative of the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), a training session titled ‘Partner Field School Congress’ was held for 70 farmers in Rajapur upazila of Jhalokathi district on Tuesday in the training room of the Rajapur Upazila Agriculture Office.
The program was organized under the initiative "Program on Agricultural and Rural Transformation for Nutrition, Entrepreneurship, and Resilience in Bangladesh (PARTNER)."
The event was presided over by UNO Rahul Chand. The chief guest was Md. Abdullah Al-Mamun, Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Jhalokathi. Special guest was Additional Deputy Director Ishrat Jahan Mili.
Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Abdullah, Rajapur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Ismail Hossain, Upazila Election Officer Md. Emdadul Haque, Upazila Food Control Officer Shahnaz Parveen, and Upazila ICT Officer Md. Jahajir Alam were also present.
The event was moderated by Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Mostafizur Rahman, with the welcome speech delivered by Upazila Agriculture Officer Mosammat Shahida Sharmin Afroze.
A total of 100 participants, including 70 farmers from various areas of the upazila, acting chairmen of local union councils, and local journalists, attended the program. The training provided participants with extensive knowledge on nutrition and various related subjects.
