Youth dies after ‘being set on fire’ in Chuadanga

A 25-year-old youth died after he was allegedly set ablaze along his motorbike in Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga Tuesday night.
Sabuj, son of cattle trader Joynal of Bademaju village under Dauiki union, was set on fire in Belgachhi union of the upazila anytime at night, said police.
He had been involved in old motorbike business.
Local union parishad member Shamim Reza said being informed he went o the spot and found Sabuj’s charred body under his burnt motorbike in a forest.
Alamdanga police station’s Officer-in-Charge Masudur Rahman said they launched an investigation into the incident.
Additional superintendent of police (Sadar circle) Anisuzzaman said they were looking into the matter with importance.
