Upazila Parishad elections ends in four upazilas in Rangamati

In the first phase of the 6th phase upazila parishad elections, polling was completed in four upazilas of Rangamati without any untoward incident.
On Wednesday at 10 pm Rangamati Sadar Upazila and Kaukhali Upazila unofficially announced the results of Rangamati Senior District Election Officer Md. Monir Hossain.
In the announced results, Annasadhan Chakma was elected unofficially by getting 14 thousand 885 votes in the Doat pen mark for the post of chairman in Sadar Upazila.
Kaukhali Upazila Parishad election candidate supported by Awami League. Shamsuddoha Chowdhury was elected unofficially by getting 23 thousand 693 votes in Anaras Marka.
In the Barkal Upazila Parishad election, Bidhan Chakma Doat pen was elected unofficially by getting 11 thousand 328 votes.
Awami League supported candidate Gyanendu Vikas Chakma was elected unofficially by getting 4 thousand 752 votes in the Jurachhari Upazila Parishad election.
