Two killed, 6 injured in private car-CNG collision in Netrakona

Two people were killed on the spot and at least 6 injured in a collision between a private car and CNG in Chalisha Jhausi area on the Netrakona-Mymensingh highway.
The incident took place at Jhausi area of Chalisha Union of Netrakona Sadar Upazila around 2.30 pm. According to local residents, police and fire service sources, around 2.30 pm Two persons were killed on the spot when a private car bound for Netrakona collided with a CNG bound for Mymensingh in Jhausi area. At least 6 people were injured. One of the victims was a policeman Azizul Hakim. His home is Phulpur in Mymensingh. Besides, the identity of the others has not yet been found. The condition of one of the injured is critical.
Fire service personnel rescued the dead and injured and took them to Netrakona Modern Sadar Hospital and all the injured were admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
Officer-In-Charge of Netrakona police station Md. Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the matter and said that two passengers, including a policeman working at Fakirabazar Fadi of the district, were killed in a head-on collision with a CNG going to Mymensingh with a private car in Jhausi area. The body will be sent to the morgue for post-mortem.
