Tk 50,000 fined while filling pond in Hathazari

Md. Manju Mia was fined Tk 50,000 under the Bangladesh Environment Protection Act, 1995 and warned for filling the reservoir in Ward No. 9, Mekhal Union, Hathazari Upazila, Chattogram , on Saturday. Hathazari Uno ABM Moshiuzzaman managed the mobile court.
Jannatul Ferdous, Senior Chemist, Department of Environment, Chattogram District and members of law enforcement were present at this time. This campaign will continue in public interest.
