Ten UP members demand removal of Nachanmshal UP chairman in Jhalakathi

Ten UP members held a press conference demanding the removal of Nachanmahal Union Parishad panel chairman Shah Alam of Nalchiti Upazila in Jhalakathi.
The conference was held at the press club at 11:30 on Saturday.
They read the written speech at the press conference, UP member Md. Ruhul Amin Akon.
In a written statement. Ruhul Amin Akon complained that after August 5, the second chairman of Awami League disappeared, but his associate UP member Md. Shah Alam collected tax from various wards of No. 7 Nachanmahal union through the village police after taking charge as the panel chairman.The said money was embezzled by the panel chairman without discussion or resolution in the monthly meeting. LGED has taken money by selling about 800 feet of road bricks at different places in Herringbon. Previously, as the bank of the Parishad, 76,000/- (seventy six thousand) was deposited for tax, which the panel chairman Md. Shah Alam and Secretary Md. Nanna Fakir alleged that the said money was withdrawn.
Chairman of the panel. The members of UP filed a written complaint to various offices including the Deputy Commissioner regarding embezzlement of tax money of Shah Alam Union Parishad, corruption, and demanded his immediate removal after investigation.
In the press conference among others Md. Jamal Hossain, Badal Hossain Howlader, Md. Ripon Molla, Md. 10 UP members including Nanna were present.
