Teenager killed in road accident in Satkhira

A teenager was killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between two motorcycles in Satkhira.
The incident took place on the Satkhira-Khulna highway in front of Rishilpi near Satkhira town on Friday (February 10). The name of the deceased teenager is Hafez Zubair Hossain (15).
He is the son of Sheikh Moniruzzaman of Itagacha Purbapara area of Satkhira town. According to the police, Hafez Zubair Hossain was going towards Binerpota from Satkhira town on a motorcycle.
At around 11 o'clock in the morning, when he reached the front of Rishilpi on the Satkhira-Khulna highway under Sadar Upazila, he collided head-on with another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. Hafez Zubair Hossain was killed on the spot.
Two person on the other motorcycle were seriously injured. One of them has been admitted to the CB Hospital and the other to the Satkhira Medical College Hospital. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Satkhira Sadar Police Station Abu Jihad Mohammad Fakhrul Alam Khan confirmed the truth of the incident.
