Tama Mirza’s expectations from Farooki

After filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki was appointed as an adviser to the Ministry of Culture of the interim government, there has been hope that some new good news may come for Bengali cinema. Many from the film industry also have the same expectations from Farooki! “Surongo”-famed actor Tama Mirza also expressed her opinion on this matter to Kolkata’s media Anandabazar online.
The actor first congratulated Farooki. She wished the director the same success in the new chapter of his life. “I don’t understand politics. I prefer to stay away from it. Even then, I feel that if someone from the entertainment world understands it well, then they can join. From that point of view, Farooki bhai is the right person,” Tama said.
She further added that the new adviser (Farooki) loves politics as well as cinema. When such a person joins the government, the rest of the entertainment world has expectations from him. The actor hopes that he will present their good and bad scenario to the government.
Tama is also hoping that some good news may be coming for the two Bengals.
On the work front, Tama has multiple projects in her kitty. Among them are two big-budget films and two OTT series. She is currently busy shooting in full swing.
