Aman's BADC (Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation) BR-1 and BR-20 paddy seeds have been accused of selling artificial crisis at additional prices at Amtali in Barguna. Dealer Messrs. Rezby Enter Prize owner Md Honey Pada and Messrs Sonali Seed Store Zahidul Islam Mamun is selling the seeds at an additional price. It is alleged that the dealer honey Pada ignored the neon policy and made artificial scholars by bringing seeds from BADC dealer Farid Mia. Farmers have demanded that action be taken against the dindy.
According to sources in the Amtali Upazila Agriculture Office, the target of Aman cultivation in Amtali upazila has been estimated at 25 thousand 3 hectares of land. Seed rice is needed for the cultivation of that land, 300 metric tons. Of these, 5% of the farmers cultivate BR -1, BR -20 varieties of paddy because of the good yield. Patuakhali BADC authorities have provided 3 metric tonnes of Aman seed paddy in Amtali upazila this year. Which is negligible than needed. The farmers of the upazila later in the seed crisis. It is alleged that Dealer Messrs. Rezbie Enter Prize owner Md Honey Pada and Messrs Sonali Seed Assors, Zahidul Islam Mamun, is selling BADC seeds without approval from different areas and selling them at extra cost. It is also alleged that Madhu Pada, the owner of Messrs. Rezby Enter Prize, purchased from Barisal Farid Mia without the approval of the BADC seed authorities and kept it in three godown of Mahiskata Bazar in Amtali upazila. Farmer Nazrul Islam said the seeds were made by making artificial scholars at a godown and selling it at a higher price. He also collected honey pada seeds in the name of golden seed store. He also sold the seeds at additional prices.
Nazrul Islam of Kaunia village said that I went to buy BR-20 varieties of paddy seeds at Mohiuddin's shop but did not get seeds. He added that the seeds could not be collected in several shops in the city.
Afzal Hossain Sharif of Arapangasia Union said, "I bought 1 kg BR-1 rice seeds from Amtali for Rs.
Mohiuddin, owner of Messrs. Sujan Enter Prize, said, "I have got only 5 metric tons of BADC. I sold that rice. There is no rice anymore. BADC has a lot of BR -1 and BR -20 varieties of rice.
Md. Madhu Pada, owner of Messrs. Rezby Enter Prize, said, "I officially got 5 metric toned seeds in two licenses. Due to the demand for seeds, I have purchased 5 metric tons of BR-1 and BR-20 varieties of rice from BADC in the last 20 days. Responding to the question of how you are buying seeds without the approval of your BADC, he said, "All the BADC officials know about the purchase of my seeds." I bought the seeds by telling them.
Farid Mia, owner of Barisal Janani Teders, said, "We have sold many BADC seeds near the honey paid of Amtali." However, in response to the question of how he sold so many seeds, he said, "My businessman's interests cannot be said."
Amtali Upazila Agriculture Officer Russell Mia said that legal action will be taken against anyone who sells seeds at the last minute of the seeds of Aman. He added that a dealership was canceled for selling seeds at extra prices. No dealer BADC seeds will be able to purchase from another dealer.

Amtali Upazila Executive Officer Md. Roknuzzaman Khan said that strict legal action will be taken against it if a dealer sells the seeds at a higher price by creating artificial crisis of BADC seeds.
