Spirit of July revolution and Indian hegemony

Md. Zillur Rahaman

India is the closest neighbour country to the three sides of the Bangladesh. But their aggressive and hegemony mindset is slowly being erected as an enemy state of the Bangladesh. Specially the situation has drastically changed after the fall of the last fascist government on August 5, 2024 in the last year. India has never been able to realise this situation at all. From the very beginning, they are blindly supporting a party instead of a sovereign and independent country. Not only supporting the party, they are engaging in the conspiracy with them against the Bangladesh. The so-called religious and democratic state was mainly because of the dominant and intriguing aggressive behavior, the relationship between the nearest and democratic state was not desirable at all.

The induction of Indian aggression and hegemony in the politics of Bangladesh was dug in the midst of the seven point secret deal between Mujibnagar Government and India.  The Mujibnagar government did not consult the matter with the sector commanders of the warfield in that time. In this guinea, the main seed of slavery was pushed out into the Independent Bangladesh by India in preplanned way. The secret deal was signed by the Chief of expatriates Mujibnagar government head temporary President Syed Nazrul Islam and Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in Indian government. It is alleged that Tajuddin Ahmed, then expatriates Prime Minister, fell unconscious after signing the secret agreement.

The agreement states: (1) The semi-feudal forces shall be formed in Bangladesh under the caretage of Indian sympatheticists. However, any formal military forces will not be formed. The importance, number of soldiers and the number of weapons will be big and significant to be the main elder of the Bangladesh. (2) Bangladesh shall be purchased from the military weapons from India and it must be done according to the supremacy of the Indian. Indian officers will be subjected to their position in the service of the government officers who have not participated in the independence war of Bangladesh. (3) The Bangladesh foreign trade shall be determined by Indian advice. (4) The fantasy and pentagon of the Bangladesh will have to be communal with the Indian fiction. (5) The foreign policy of Bangladesh shall be similar to Indian foreign policy. (6) The Agreement of the Indo-Bangladeesh will not be discontinued without Indian consent. (7) The leadership of the liberation war of Bangladesh shall remain only in the hands of the Indian Army. According to this agreement, India will be able to enter inside the Bangladesh in the time of any time, and the barrier will be able to move onto the crowd.

On December 7, India gave the recognition of Bangladesh as a sovereign and independent country. The joint attack of the Mukti forces and the Indian forces against the Pak-forces began. In the fierce invasion of the joint forces, the Pak-forces fell into the dinner. Then on the afternoon of December 16, the head of the Pak-forces East Lt Gen. Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi surrendered to the head of the Joint-forces Lt. gen. Jagjit Singh Arora in the racecourse field of Dhaka and then Bangladesh emerged as a Sovereign and Independent state in the global map.

Surprisingly, India did not allow Col. M. A. G. Osmani, the superintendent of the Mukti Forces, who was the only one who kept their single achievements and skill in the war of the Liberation War. What is even more surprising is that after the signing of this surrender, Lt Gen. Jagjit Singh Arora, took the control of the independent Bangladesh forces. Even all the surrendered scholars and semi-communal forces security and tactics are also in the hands of the Indian forces! According to the international genre, it would have been in the hands of the victory fighters. If this was the case, the Mukti forces could have tried the Pak-forces as war criminal offences, and could occupy their accumulated weapons, ammunition and supplies.

Pakistan recently canceled the historic Shimla Agreement with India during the Indo-Pakistan war. Many people are criticizing the discussion without understanding it, but what was really in the Shimla agreement? Bangladesh achieved independence on December 16, 1971. Then the Pakistani forces surrendered to the Indian Army and Bangladeshi Liberation Army. Ninety three thousands of Pakistani soldiers surrendered to Bangladesh who were imprisoned in Indian forces. In exchange for a large number of prisoners, India signed a 'Shimla Agreement' with Pakistan in 1972. India please forgive Pakistan and send the prisoners back. In exchange, the Pakistan pledged Kashmir issue not to raise the international forum, and India used it and virtually occupied Kashmir. It meant, Kashmir was occupied by India with a gun on the shoulders of Bangladesh.

But the Indian forces did such a fiery work that was struck by the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh, in the ability to maintain the aggression and domination of their own interest in the international rules. The more humiliating thing is that the Government of India has always been coming to the point of the War of India with Pakistan instead of the Liberation War of Bangladesh with Pakistan and described the same in the history of India. Even today, the Government of India did not accept the great war of the 'Liberation War' of Bangladesh. This is just a manifestation of the aggressive mindset of India.

Bangladesh was not truly independent on December 16. Bangladesh had gone from Pakistanis to Indian domination. At that time, the administrator (DC) was appointed from the cabinet of India in nineteen subdivisions of the country. The armed forces of Bangladesh led the Great War of Liberation. But the Indian troops took over as OC in all the police stations of the country. The military-civilian people liberated the country through a bloody war for a long nine months. But India had snatched victory.

The sad thing is, the government did not protest against the Sarikar of India at the formal time! However, the government has come to power by taking the Isu of the War of Liberation! It is widely recognized that the victory of the war of the Silence is not a gift of sympathy, it is bought by thousands of people. Today, it is clear that India was the only one who had a strong aspiration of internationally to the strength of the international power and the people of India were weapons in the post of Bangla Devi on that day. Originally, the people of Bangladesh were the most loyal state of Banano.

Surprisingly, the general MA of our Liberation War .G Osmani was not allowed to stay in Pakistan on December 5. Indira Gandhi withdrew all Indian troops from Bangladesh on March 8 at the request of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. On March 7, Indian troops were formally departed through a march. On the way to the Indian troops, Pakistan's submitted weapons, ammunition and all jute mills, sugar mills and industrial factories in Bangladesh were removed. All the resources of the independent country are looted. Major Jalil, the commander of the ninth sector, was captured in Khulna for protesting against the looting of Indian forces. But he was innocent in the court martial trial. Then Major Jalil himself resigned from the army to protest this wrongdoing.

Surprisingly, the general M. A. G Osmani was not allowed to stay in the surrender program of Pakistani soldiers on December 16 as a preplanned way. Indira Gandhi withdrew all Indian troops from Bangladesh on March 30 at the request of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. On March 19, Indian troops were formally departed from Bangladesh through a march. On the way to the Indian troops, Pakistan's submitted weapons, ammunition and all jute mills, sugar mills and industrial factories in Bangladesh were removed. All the resources of the independent country are looted by Indian forces. Major Jalil, the commander of the ninth sector, was captured in Khulna for protesting against the looting of Indian forces. In fact, the Awami League has worked as an agent of India since 1971 and is still fled to India and has been doing the same. The War of Liberation was a planned trap of establishing India's domination. Every time the Awami League has come to power after 1971, they have ruled the country as an agent of India. The country made a colony of India. All the civil rights of the people of the country, including vote, were taken away. So to end Indian domination, the July 24 revolution was born in 2024. Our 47, 52, 71 and 24 are tied to the same formula. Because of this, the birth of 52 to 71 was born, for the same reason, 24 was created for the same reason. Although time and environment are different, every struggle was the fight for our rights. But sadly, extortion, occupation, looting are still not stopped in the country. Only the party banner-signboard has changed. But the problem was not solved. Earlier, one group used to do misdeeds, now another party. People want to end these non-politics. A Renaissance Revolution is needed in politics today. Politics will be rich in the consciousness of the July Revolution, free from Indian domination and aggression. The welfare of the people is not the conflict of the interests of the people, but the welfare of the people.
