A huge demonstration and protest rally program was organized at the BNP office and central bus terminal at Ishwardi Railgate on Thursday afternoon.
These programs were organized by Ishwardi Municipal and Upazila BNP and all its affiliated organizations under the leadership of former Municipal BNP Secretary Zakaria Pintu and former Upazila BNP President Shamsuddin Malitha. Zakaria Pintu spoke as the chief guest at this protest rallies.
Under the chairmanship of SM Fazlur Rahman, BNP leaders and former BNP President Shamsuddin Malitha, Ahsan Habib, Mannan Chairman, Ruhul Amin Bablu, Sentu Sardar, Fazlu Master, Bishta Sarkar, Islam Hossain Jewel, Anwar Hossain Johnny, Ataur Rahman Pata, Mohammad Ali Kajal, Tutul Sardar, Kabir Ahmed, Ibrahim Hossain, Jamal Member, Pippu Hossain, Muktar Hossain, Alhaj Ajihak, Akmal Hossain, Ainul Sardar, Zakir Hossain Jewel, Mahfuzur Rahman Manju and Sonamoni, among others, spoke. In his speech as the chief guest.
Zakaria Pintu said, a malicious group, jealous of BN's popularity, is engaged in a conspiracy to tarnish BNs image by making false and conspiratorial statements against BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
The soldiers of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and Tarique Rahman will expose the malicious group through constructive organizational works.
At 4:30 pm, the protest procession left the BNP Office Zero Point, Railgate Bus Terminal area and circled the main roads of the town after the protesters took part in a protest rally at the Central Bus Terminal.
