Social Welfare Ministry working relentlessly for distressed people : Khasru

State Minister for Social Welfare Alhaj Asraf Ali Khan Khasru said, his Ministry has been working relentlessly for the negleted, distressed ,old aged and disabled people under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina .
He was speaking as Chief Guest at a cheque distribution ceremony to cancer,livercerosis patients organised by District Social Welfare Department at Netrakona Press Club on Monday.
He furter said, the government has been trying to ensure safety and security of the helpless , jobless and poor section of people amid corona situation .
The function was presided over by newly joined Deputy Commissioner Kazi Abdur Rahman . Conducted by Press Club General Secretary M Mukhlasur Rahman , it was addressed among others by journalist leaders Alhaj Adv Sanwar Hussain Bhuiyan, freedom fighter Haider jahan Chowdhury Adv Abdul Hannan Ranjan, AKM Abdullah and Dilwar Khan .
Later , the state minister handed over cheque among the people including ailing journalist Md Abdus Salam .
