Sifat, Wares jointly champion in DU Shahidullah Hall annual sports competition

Dhaka University Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah Hall annual sports competition was jointly won by Shafin Al Mahmud Khan Sifat, a student of the Department of Zoology, and Wares Malek, a student of the Department of Microbiology, and Ilias Ahmed, a student of the Department of Mathematics.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan inaugurated the competition as the chief guest on Wednesday morning, at the central playground. After the game, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Dr. Mamun Ahmed distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
The event was presided over by Prof Dr. Muhammad Jabed Hossain, Principal of Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah Hall, and Professor Dr. SM Arif Mahmud, Acting Director of Physical Education Center SM Zakaria, Principals of various halls, residential teachers and students were present. It is worth noting that more than two hundred students participated in 13 events in the annual sports competition of Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah Hall.
The annual sports competition of the university halls started this year through the annual sports competition of this hall. The annual sports competition of 18 residential halls will be held in phases. The 54th Inter-Hall Athletics Competition of Dhaka University will be held with the champions and runners-up in the competition.
