Land deeds and house keys have been handed over to 163 landless and homeless families in Tajumaddin, Bhola. On Wednesday morning.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the fourth phase of the land and house transfer program under the shelter project-2 among these destitute landless and homeless families in Tajumuddin from the Ganabhaban in the morning. Tajumaddin upazila administration organized land deed and house key handover ceremony at Upazila Parishad Auditorium.

Meanwhile, Member of Parliament for Bhola-3 Constituency Noorunnabi Chowdhury Shaon handed over the land deeds and house keys to 163 beneficiary families in the 1st phase of the 4th phase to resettle the landless and homeless families under the Asharyan-2 project on behalf of the Prime Minister.

At the time, he said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's promise that not a single person in Bangladesh will remain homeless - the programme of providing land and paved houses to all landless and homeless families in the country is ongoing. It is an unprecedented event in the history of the world to give so many people together with land ownership.

This is Sheikh Hasina's role model in inclusive development. He also said that a large number of displaced people are getting permanent housing as well as self-employment opportunities in the shelter project.

Through this, Bangladesh is going a long way in achieving poverty alleviation and sustainable development goals. The fate of the helpless people of the country is improving because of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Upazila Executive Officer Maryam Begum, Awami League President Fakhrul Alam Jahangir, Vice Chairman Mohiuddin Poddar, Shambhupur UP Chairman Md Rasel, Upazila Project Implementation Office Md Salim, Chandpur UP Chairman Shahidullah Kiran were present.
