One killed over land dispute in Gaibandha

A man named Fuad Hossain died after being hit by a brothers and sisters on Friday evening at Mirpur village of Faridpur union of Sadulapur upazila of Gaibandha.
The deceased was Fuad Hossain, son of Afzal Hossain alias Dula Master of the village.
Police and visitors said that Mamun Mia, 9, son of Nurul Islam alias Nurmar of the same village and Mukta Begum, 28, and their cousin Fuad Mia. Mukta Begum recently cultivated the land from his father Nurul Islam with a mortgage of 5th century land and 5th century land.
On Friday, Mukta Begum was accompanied by her husband Shahrmal Islam on the land. At that time, when Mamun was banned from picking up the kachu, Bagbitanda began. At one point, Mamun beat him and Fuad and his wife Santana came forward to resolve the dispute. At this time, Mamun hit Fuad's chest with a scissor in his hand. Fuad Mia died on the way to the hospital after being injured.
